Calling all Mums and Dads!

When doing my research for Soccer Fit, one of the most apparent gaps was the lack of fitness classes that parents could do with their kids. Childcare is always an (expensive!) issue and often parents either didn't take part in any fitness activity or sat around waiting for their kids to finish whatever class they were doing.

It was obvious that doing a joint parent (or grandparent, aunt, uncle) class was the way to go.

Not only will it help the parents get fit, it will help children stay physically active in a comfortable environment. This is essential for a childs well being. I have studied child development and some of the key things that help a child grow and develop are structure, communication and support, all of which can be done during a joint fitness class.

One of my key methods is communication. I always tell my clients during session that they need to talk to one another and communicate, especially in our games. Such activity allows a child to thrive and can also be great fun!
